Math 2200 and CS 2100

Math 2200 and CS 2100 cover a similar set of Learning Outcomes, but differ in perspective and pedagogy. The following information is for students who are considering taking Math 2200.

Overview of Affect on CS Majors and CS Minors

CS majors/minors are encouraged to take CS 2100. If a student takes Math 2200 instead of CS 2100:

1. CS 2100 will not be required for the degree/minor.
2. An additional CS 3000+ elective course will be required for the degree/minor.
