Internships and Jobs

Internships and part-time/full-time job opportunities are regularly posted to the Kahlert School of Computing Canvas page and the College of Engineering Jobs Board.

Advisors in the Career & Professional Development Center assist students with resume and cover-letter creation, mock-interviews, and more. Students are encouraged to join Handshake to stay informed of career fairs and other opportunities.

Related School of Computing Courses

CS 3011: Industry Forum is a 1.0 credit-hour course in which students engage in presentations from local and national business leaders discussing issues in computing from industry perspectives, trends in computer science, professionalism, ethics, career readiness, lifelong learning, and contemporary issues. This course does not count towards any degree requirements.

CS 4010: Computer Science Internship is an elective course, taken typically during the summer between a student's junior and senior year, in which students earn credit for an internship experience. Enrollment is by permission only; see the pre-enrollment guidelines (This course is primarily intended for CS majors, but other SoC majors may also petition with this link).
